Artist's Description

This oil painting is of two Olive Baboons (Papio anubis), also known as the Anubis Baboon, a superficially dog-like primate that weighs from approximately 10 to 37 kg (22 to 83 lbs). They are found in a wide swath across the central, equatorial region of Africa. They occur in troops, have a complex social structure and common in many regions. The painting is in oils on compressed hardboard and is 18 X 24 inches. $1200.00
